Tsukiji Fish Market + Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay - Japan Day 7!

Tsukiji Fish market is a "Must Do" in Tokyo, and am glad to share that regardless of not being an early riser, you can still have your fish and eat it.

We chose where to eat based on the lonely planet book - Dai Wa. We were quite excited but the queue outside was ridiculously long, and part of me was afraid we would get average sushi.

The shop was very simple, a row of bar seats and an old looking counter, but the sushi was divine for that price point,

Can I also add besides how fresh the sashimi was, that the tamago was so good too? Not overly sweet and it was moist and so delightful.

With our very satisfied bellies we made a stop at Ginza as it was nearby and decided to go to the largest Uniqlo store in the world. We combed it floor by floor and finally made a stop to raid the disney floor. We got quite few toy story shirts and I got a Minnie mouse pullover to wear it to Disney sea. With our new stash in tow, we went back to the hotel before packing up and and getting on a taxi to, Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel!

We were inclined to take the train but we had way to many bags (hello shopping!) so we figured to spoil ourselves with a taxi ride.

We got there in about an hour and checked in to the Sheraton. Upon checking, we got our keys and headed to our room which looked vastly different from what we booked online - it was really nice!!!

I loved how big the room was and the fixtures were luxe. I also noticed it was the club floor, so I asked E to check his app to see what room we got and apparently we got a club room though we booked the most basic one using our corporate rate. I was beyond pleased! We got changed and headed down to walk around and decided to stop by the reception to ask if we had access to the club lounge as we had a club floor.

The odd thing was that the lady that checked us in didn't tell us we got upgraded, not sure if it was a language barrier but either ways, it's our second time being upgraded and I'm now a loyal fan of the Starwood group.

We were thinking of getting a night pass for disney land but it was a bit too late so we skipped that, hung out in our beautiful room and got room service so we could wake up bright and early for a full day in DisneySea.
