So as a little birthday celebration for one of my dear university friends, we headed to group therapy cafe!

We got there just slightly after it opened and it was rather empty, so we got to choose a nice seat and took out time to order before the crowd started building at about 12.

I love quaint little places. Large and busy places are really not my thing and crowds really make me cranky and unable to relax.

The eccentric decor, from the mis matched sofa sets to red wooden toilet doors added much character to the place.

The food came rather quickly and was really delicious. It was a tough decision between the poached eggs or the waffles for brunch so we ordered both and I shared it with M. The proportion of egg and salmon to toast was more of 20:80 and I would have preferred it more 30:70.
The waffles were pretty decent though I would have topped it off with fresh fruit.

One of my gripes of that place was how dirty the cups were. They were properly stacked on the table with a bottle of water so we could help ourselves but all the cups had some stains on it. Rather unbecoming of a mid market eating place.

I would say I enjoyed the combination of decently tasty food coupled with eccentric decor in a somewhat less crowded area. But I really hope that they do something about the cups!
