We decided to do away with touristy things and spend the day in Roppongi Hills, shopping and eating! The first stop was banana republic, I got this beautiful sweater and a scarf, both at 70% off!
True to our Tokyo eating approach, we looked for a place with a line. We settled at Creme de la Creme and their creme puffs were ace.
What impressed me the most was how the counter staff put so much effort in boxing up our purchases, and presenting it to us with so much pride.
That's the beauty of Japan. All jobs are treated with pride (at least from what we saw) and I think we should bring that home to Singapore.
We spent most of the day looking at beautiful and expensive things in Roppongi Hills, before heading back to Shunjuku and guess what, we joined another line for Ichiran Ramen.
The experience of ordering from a Vending machine, and eating in those little cubicles was worth the wait and the ramen was probably one of the best I've ever had. The night ended well with a taking photos and enjoying the trees that were so beautifully decorated!
